Web copywriters utilise short form text when writing website content. What does that mean? Firstly ‘stop’ words are used sparingly. Secondly short sentences work best.

Stop words are essentially language fillers. Words like ‘for, at, to’ add to spoken and written language. But they don’t work well for web copywriting. Search engines disregard these words for page ranking.

Effective web content is written with short sentences. Web copywriters break down text to one idea and limit the word count each sentence.
