Every formal copywriting proposal includes these trading terms:

Quotation is inclusive of:

• meetings, including briefing, presentation, telephone and email as required;
• travel or attendance on client within Melbourne metro area;
• research for and writing of the copy content;
• two  sets of revisions to the copy presented.

Please note that work outside the stated project scope including, major material rewrites, additional edits and author corrections fall outside this quotation.

Work required beyond the scope of this estimate will be charged at the rate of $175 per hour.

Payment Terms

• Amounts below $1,000 – payable in advance
• Projects
  50% deposit on quotation acceptance
  50% balance due on draft copy completion

Commencement

Work will be scheduled to commence on receipt of your deposit or pre-payment.  Cluey freelance copywriters will make every effort to meet project deadlines, however this cannot be guaranteed.  You should expect an initial draft or sample for review within 10 days of your deposit or pre-payment.

Fees

Fees are subject to review in December annually and the following rates are adjusted from 1 February each year:

• Minimum charge
• Hourly rate
• Half day rate
• Fully day rate

All fixed price projects will be delivered as per the agreed quotation.
